Cosmic Spark | Global Hardware Warranty & Returns Policy

This policy governs the warranty, return, and refund protocols for all high-performance computing (HPC) systems and component bundles engineered by Cosmic Spark. By accepting delivery of Cosmic Spark hardware, the Purchaser agrees to be bound by these terms. This agreement is structured to ensure global regulatory compliance and maximum operational continuity for mission-critical deployments.
1. Scope of Agreement
This agreement applies exclusively to the hardware components integrated into the designated Cosmic Spark validated stack (e.g., Processor, Motherboard, Memory). It does not cover software compatibility, operating system configurations, or third-party integrations performed after the initial operational handover.
2. 3-Year Global Component Warranty
Cosmic Spark warrants that the integrated hardware components shall be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for a period of three (3) years from the date of validated deployment or initial shipment. This warranty is a Hardware Reliability Guarantee.

2.1 Warranty Claim Protocol:

Step 1: All warranty claims must be initiated via the official ishraak@cosmicspark.xyz advisory channel.

Step 2: Cosmic Spark will provide initial remote diagnostics to validate the failure. This process is mandatory and ensures that the issue is not a configuration or firmware-level latency.

Step 3: Upon remote validation of a hardware-level defect, Cosmic Spark will issue a unique Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. No returns will be accepted without a valid RMA number.

2.4 Advanced Replacement (Cross-Shipping): For critical infrastructure deployments (Tier 1), Cosmic Spark may, at its sole discretion, offer an Advanced Replacement Protocol. Upon receipt of the Client’s written confirmation of the defect and the provision of a secure payment method, Cosmic Spark will cross-ship the replacement component prior to receiving the defective unit. The Client must return the defective unit within fifteen (15) business days to avoid being charged the full retail value of the advanced replacement.
3. Consummation of Sale & Returns Policy

3.1 Final Sale Declaration: Given the bespoke nature of Cosmic Spark high-performance architectures and the precise hardware-software tuning applied, all hardware sales are considered Final.

3.2 Disallowance of "Change of Mind" Returns: Cosmic Spark does not offer returns, exchanges, or refunds for "change of mind," project cancellations, or localized performance dissatisfaction unrelated to validated hardware defects. Once a system architecture has been commissioned and the build has initiated, the Client is committed to the fiscal terms of the Master Service Agreement.
4. Defective Component Returns (RMA Process)

4.1 Return for Refund (DOA Only): In the highly unlikely event that a system component is determined to be Dead-on-Arrival (DOA) or experiences a catastrophic failure within thirty (30) calendar days of deployment, and a suitable replacement component cannot be sourced within a commercially reasonable timeframe, the Client may be eligible for a full refund of the component’s allocated purchase value.

4.2 Refund Processing: Refunds are processed only after the defective component has been received by Cosmic Spark, validated for failure, and confirmed to be free of user-induced damage. Refunds will be issued via the original payment method (bank transfer or corporate credit) within ten (10) business days of failure validation.
5. Logistics & Integrity of Returns

5.1 Shipping Costs:

Warranty Repair/Replacement: The Client is responsible for shipping the defective unit to the designated Cosmic Spark Service Center. Cosmic Spark will cover the expedited shipping costs for the repaired/replaced unit back to the Client.

DOA Returns: Cosmic Spark will provide a prepaid shipping label for DOA returns (within the first 30 days).

5.2 Sovereign Packaging: Returns must be executed utilizing the original, anti-static, shock-absorbent Sovereign Packaging (crates) provided by Cosmic Spark. Cosmic Spark is not liable for transitive damage occurring during the return of a defective component in unauthorized or substandard packaging.
6. Warranty Exclusions & Limitations
This warranty is voided if the hardware failure results from:

Thermal/Electrical Overload: Failure to maintain the required facility Thermal Envelope or localized electrical surges.

Unauthorized Modification: User-induced low-level BIOS tuning (undervolting/overclocking), firmware modification, or physical tampering with the LGA socket or memory traces.

Environmental Degradation: Exposure to extreme humidity, dust, or localized flooding.
